Charlotte Learning Communities

At UNC Charlotte, a Learning Community (LC) is a group of students that takes at least one class together in the fall and one class together in the spring. LCs also:

• are organized around the students’ college, major, or area of interest
• have an assigned peer mentor (usually a past participant of the LC)
• provide students with extracurricular opportunities throughout their first year
